💼 Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Executive – IPQA to join our quality team at our API manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This role offers the opportunity to ensure adherence to GMP standards, drive quality compliance, and support critical production operations in a world-class pharmaceutical environment.

📝 Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Executive in IPQA, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting regular plant rounds to monitor production and ensure adherence to SOPs and GMP guidelines.

• Reviewing Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), Batch Cleaning Records (BCRs), and analytical records prior to API release.

• Performing sampling of APIs, intermediates, and Key Starting Materials (KSMs), including proper cleaning and maintenance of sampling tools.

• Providing line clearance at product changeovers and during critical process steps.

• Supporting documentation control activities, ensuring timely filing and retrieval of records.

• Maintaining and reviewing controlled and retained sample records for intermediates, finished APIs, and KSMs.

• Ensuring strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and data integrity principles.

• Escalating any deviations or discrepancies identified during plant rounds or documentation review.

• Assisting in the preparation and review of SOPs related to IPQA activities.

• Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary records and compliance data.

• Coordinating with QA, QC, and production teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.

🎓 Candidate Profile

• Education:

  • M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) – Preferred

  • B.Pharm – Preferred

• Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IPQA activities within an API manufacturing unit.

• Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of GMP/cGMP compliance and in-process quality assurance.

  • Expertise in documentation control, sampling procedures, and record management.

  • Strong understanding of data integrity and GDP practices.

  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and maintain a strong shop-floor presence.
