📌 Position Details

Position Title: Assistant Professor (Contractual)

Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years
Monthly Remuneration: ₹80,000 (Consolidated)

🎓 Essential Qualifications

• Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.Sc./M.Pharm/M.S.Pharm/B.Tech/M.Tech) in:

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Medical Devices

  • Bioelectronics

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

  • Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)

  • Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering

• At least 2 years of post-Ph.D. experience in Teaching/Research/Industry (excluding Ph.D. tenure)

• Strong academic background and a record of high-quality publications

💡 Desirable Experience & Skills

• Hands-on experience in:

  • Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering

  • Biomedical Imaging or Signal Processing

  • AI in Healthcare

  • Design and validation of Class 2 and Class 3 Biomedical Devices

• Preference will be given to candidates who:

  • Have filed or been granted patents

  • Have commercialized products or successfully executed technology transfer

  • Guided Master’s level students and led sponsored research projects

  • Published in SCI-indexed journals

⚙️ Terms of Engagement

• Nature of Engagement: Full-time, purely contractual

• Tenure: Initial appointment up to one year; extendable based on performance and institutional need

• No additional allowances beyond the consolidated salary will be provided
