Position Overview

Designation: Quality Assurance Officer / Senior Officer – Microbiology
Location: Turkapally, Hyderabad, Telangana
Experience Required: 3 – 5 years
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Microbiology) / M.Pharm / B.Pharm

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Officer / Senior Officer (Microbiology), you will ensure that all microbiology operations comply with cGMP, GLP, and regulatory expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing Sterility Test and Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET) reports for completeness and accuracy.

• Evaluating Microbial Limit Test (MLT) data sheets to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Maintaining and auditing routine microbiology lab documentation, including disinfectant records, cleaning logs, and autoclave cycle data.

• Conducting plate reading and related microbiological observations.

• Performing QMS (Quality Management System) reviews and investigations related to deviations, OOS, and OOT findings.

• Supporting sterility assurance activities and ensuring environmental control in microbiological operations.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continual improvement in quality practices.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• Education: M.Sc. in Microbiology / M.Pharm / B.Pharm from a reputed institution.

• Experience: 3–5 years in Microbiology QA / QC or Pharma Sterility Assurance.

• Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in Sterility, BET, and MLT testing.

  • Strong understanding of QMS principles and documentation practices.

  • Familiarity with plate reading techniques and environmental monitoring.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, teamwork ability, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

• Notice Period: 2–3 months preferred.
