About ECHS
The ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Central Organisation is situated in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC), with oversight from the Adjutant General (AG) and Director General, Department of Defence and Coordination of Welfare (DGDC&W) at Army Headquarters. The central organization is led by the Managing Director, ECHS, who holds the rank of a serving Major General. There are a total of 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics across the country.
ECHS functions as an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW) within the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Other entities attached to DoESW include the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) is seeking applications for Officer Staff, Para Medical Staff, and Non-Med Staff on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinic Faridkot. The positions are available for a period of one year for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and 11 months for civilian candidates.
