The Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) was established in Dehradun through an Act passed by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly and assented by the Governor on 06 April 2015. The Act, titled Uttarakhand Govt-Act-No108/xxxvi(3)/2015/26(1)/2015, was enacted to address the long-standing need of the people of Uttarakhand for advanced healthcare services and to ensure the availability of high-quality medical facilities across the state.
The board plays a pivotal role in recruiting qualified medical professionals for various government medical institutions, thereby strengthening the public healthcare system and enhancing access to superior healthcare for all citizens.
The Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board (UKMSSB) invites applications for direct recruitment to 73 Pharmacist positions (Group ‘C’) in Government Medical Colleges under the Department of Medical Education, Uttarakhand.
