The Integrated Health and Family Welfare Society, under the Municipal Corporation Nagpur’s National Urban Health Mission, invites applications for the post of Pharmacist on a contractual basis. Interested candidates are required to fill out the online Google form via the link provided below.

Position Details

  • Post: Pharmacist
  • Number of Vacancies: 4 (ST-1, VJ-1, NT-C-1, EWS-1)
  • Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy (Registration with the Pharmacy Council is mandatory). Preference will be given to candidates with higher educational qualifications.
  • Age Limit:
    • Backward Classes: Maximum 43 years
    • Open Category: Maximum 38 years
    • (Age relaxation applies for candidates currently working under NHM)

Application Fee

Candidates must attach a non-refundable Direct Debit (DD) along with their application:

  • Backward Classes: Rs. 100/-
  • Open Category: Rs. 150/-

The DD should be drawn from a nationalized bank, payable in the name of “Corporation Integrated Health & Family Welfare Society, Nagpur” (A/C No. 60401911738, IFSC CODE MAHB0001195). Candidates must write their name on the back of the DD.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Both private and government experience will be considered. Experience certificates must mention the duration, date, signature, stamp, and entry-exit details.
  2. Applicants must be physically and mentally fit for the role and should not have any criminal record.
  3. Candidates must be residents of Maharashtra.
  4. Selection will be purely on a merit basis; no personal interviews will be conducted.
  5. These positions are purely contractual under NUHM and are not part of the permanent establishment of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
  6. Civil Service Rules do not apply to these contractual positions.
  7. The number of vacancies and reservations are subject to change.
  8. The contract will be valid only for the project duration and will automatically terminate when the project concludes.
  9. Required Documents (Attested copies to be submitted with the application):
    • Passport-size photograph (1) along with email and phone number
    • Proof of residence in Maharashtra
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
    • Date of birth certificate (School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate)
    • Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License)
    • Final year mark sheet and registration certificate from the Pharmacy Council
    • Additional educational qualification certificates (PG Degree/Diploma)
    • Experience certificates (if any)
  10. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications and experience.
  11. The Selection Committee reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process at any time.
  12. Political influence will lead to disqualification.
  13. Selected candidates must sign a contract agreement on a Rs. 100/- bond paper.
  14. If reserved-category candidates are unavailable, the vacancies may be temporarily filled by open-category candidates from the waiting list for 11 months.
  15. Recruitment updates, lists of eligible/ineligible candidates, and selection results will be published on nmcnagpur.gov.in/public-notices. No personal correspondence will be made.
  16. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
