Position: Lecturer, Pharmacy

The State of Uttarakhand, established on November 9, 2000, under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000, is inviting applications for the position of Lecturer in Pharmacy. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, constituted under Article 315 of the Indian Constitution by the Governor of Uttarakhand on March 14, 2001, regulates this recruitment process.

Job Details:

  • Number of Posts: 47 (UR-25, SC-11, ST-02, OBC-5, EWS-04)
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100, Grade Pay Rs. 5,400 (Revised Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500, Level-10)
  • Nature of Post: Gazetted, temporary, with contributory pension, Group ‘B’.

Educational Qualification:

  1. B.Pharma or equivalent degree with first class from a recognized University/Pharmacy Institute.
  2. Knowledge of Hindi.

Preference:

  • Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject.
  • Passed GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) examination.
  • One year industrial or academic experience.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Maximum age: 42 years (as of July 1, 2024)
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit as per government regulations for reserved categories.

  • Uttarakhand SC/ST/OBC: Rs. 82.30
  • Economically Weaker Sections: Rs. 172.30
  • Orphan Children in Government Homes: No Fee
  • Uttarakhand Divyangjan (Disabled): Rs. 22.30
