Opportunity for Qualified Pharmacists on Contract Basis
Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill five vacant positions of Pharmacist at Rajawadi Hospital, Mumbai. This is a contractual appointment with a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 18,000/-. Interested candidates meeting the qualifications below are encouraged to apply.
Pharmacist Position Details:
Number of Posts: 5
Salary: Rs. 18,000/- per month (Fixed emolument with no additional allowances)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with a 1-day technical break every 45 days)
Qualifications:
D. Pharmacy from State Govt Board of Technical Education or Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
Registration with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
Minimum 50 marks in Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education School Examination or equivalent examination in Marathi subject.
Computer knowledge is essential.
Age: 18 to 45 years at the time of application.
Duties:
Stock management of medicines and related items.
Monitoring supply and demand of injections and medicines.
Taking corrective actions against contractors supplying improper drugs.
Recording expenses of medicines and injections.
Attesting to the authenticity of received medicines.
Maintaining records and checking dispensary notebooks regularly.
Managing expired medicines and conducting weekly checks.
Distribution of medicines to patients and in-patient departments.
Executing orders from superiors.
Terms and Conditions:
Contract pharmacists cannot claim regular service of Municipal Corporation.
Contract drug manufacturers must submit contracts on a Rs.100 stamp paper.
Fixed monthly salary of Rs.18,000/- with no additional allowances.
Contract period is 6 months, with termination after the specified period.
Unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination without notice.
Selection based on percentage of marks in the final year of education.
No consideration for seniority during the contract period.
