About ECHS Central Organization

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organization, headquartered in Delhi, operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W at Army HQ. Led by a serving Major General, ECHS oversees 28 Regional Centres and 426 ECHS Polyclinics nationwide. As an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), ECHS works alongside the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) to provide essential services to ex-servicemen.

Position: Pharmacist

Location:

  • Meerut: 03 positions
  • Bijnor: 01 position

Contract Duration:
One year, renewable for an additional year or until the maximum age limit is reached, subject to satisfactory performance and adherence to other conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications as prescribed by medical practitioners.
  • Provide pharmaceutical care and advice to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed.
  • Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary medicines.

Qualification:

  • Diploma in Pharmacy
  • Preference will be given to Ex-servicemen.

Applications should be sent to the Officer-in-Charge, Station HQ (ECHS Cell) Meerut, no later than 05 September 2024. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

Candidates must bring the following documents to the interview:

  • Original certificates, mark sheets, and degrees (10th/Matric, 10+2, Graduation, Post Graduation, Diploma/Course)
  • Work experience certificates
  • Discharge book, PPO, and service records
  • Two passport-size color photographs
  • Medical fitness certificate from SEMO/CMO

  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
