Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Pharmacist Grade -II in health institutions of Zone-II under the control of the Regional Director of Medical & Health Services, Zone-II on a Contract basis.
Position: Pharmacist Grade -II
Number of Posts: 20
Qualification:
a. Must possess SSC or its equivalent examination. b. Must possess Dip.Pharma / B.Pharma from a recognized university and registered in the AP Pharmacy Council. If the applicant possesses an equivalent qualification, a copy of the Government orders must be enclosed with the application, failing which the application will be rejected.
Age:
Upper age limit is 42 years. Age will be reckoned as on 01.07.2023, with relaxations as applicable.
- For SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates: 05 (Five) Years.
- For Ex-service Men: 03 (Three) years in addition to the length of service in the armed forces.
- For differently-abled persons: 10 (Ten) Years.
- Maximum age limit is 52 years with all relaxations put together.
Fee:
Applicant must enclose a demand draft towards the application processing fee in favor of “Regional Director of Medical & Health Services, Rajamahendravaram,” payable at Rajamahendravaram. a. For OC candidates = Rs.500/- b. For SC/ST/BC/Physically challenged candidates = Rs.300/-
Remuneration: Rs. 32,670/- per month.
Reservations:
(i) Reservations are applicable as per Rule 22 of AP State and Subordinate Services Rules. (ii) Reservations to women will be as per General Rule 22-A. (iii) Presidential order is applicable as per GO Ms No 674. (iv) Reservations to Differently-abled persons are applicable as per G.O.Ms.No.2 Department for WCDA & SC (Prog.II) dt 19.02.2020.
Method of Appointment:
Appointment is purely on a Contract basis for a period of one year and will be renewed based on performance. The Candidate will have no right to claim for appointment on the permanent roll in the State Health Department.
Selection Criteria:
Total marks: 100
- 75 marks for the aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in qualifying examination.
- Up to 10 marks @ 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring requisite Qualification.
- Weightage up to 15 marks for contract employment based on the working area.
Recruitment Process:
Regional Director of Medical and Health Services will conduct the recruitment process and issue appointment orders to the selected candidates. Applications must be submitted on or before 20-02-2024.

- Copies of educational qualifications
- Certificate of Permanent Registration in Andhra Pradesh Pharmacy Council
- Caste/Community Certificate
- Study Certificates for 4th to 10th class
- EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Physically handicapped certificate (if applicable)
- Ex-servicemen certificate (if applicable)
- Sports quota certificate (if applicable)

- Jurisdiction for this recruitment is Zone-II only.
- The Merit List is valid for one year.
