The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Pharmacist / Drug Manufacturing Officer (Group-C) posts. Interested applicants must fulfill the educational and other eligibility criteria as specified below.

Post Details

  • Position: Pharmacist / Drug Manufacturing Officer (Group-C)
  • Number of Vacancies: 12
  • Pay Scale: S-10 (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300)

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be eligible:

  • Essential Qualification: B.Pharm degree from a recognized university.
  • Registration Requirement: Valid registration with the Maharashtra Pharmacy Council as per the Maharashtra Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948).
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in the Marathi language is mandatory.

Age Limit (As of 11/05/2025)

  • Unreserved (Open) Category: 18 to 38 years
  • Backward Category Candidates: 18 to 43 years
  • Relaxations:
    • Up to 5 years for backward category candidates working in regular establishments of NMMC.
    • Up to 45 years for open category candidates under the Pharmacy Apprenticeship program.
    • Additional relaxation for contract-based employees in NMMC establishments.

Application Fee

  • Open Category: Rs. 1000/-
  • Backward & Orphan Category: Rs. 900/-
  • The exam date, time, and center will be provided on the admit card. Updates will be available on NMMC’s official website.

General Instructions

  1. The number of vacancies and reservation categories may change as per requirement.
  2. Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying.
