Job Title: Pharmacist (Contractual)

Organization: Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station Headquarters, Agra

Location: ECHS Polyclinics in Agra, Etah, Mainpuri, and Firozabad

Job Overview:

The Station Headquarters, Agra (ECHS Cell) is seeking qualified and dedicated candidates to fill the position of Pharmacist on a contractual basis. This opportunity is available across multiple ECHS Polyclinics for a duration of 11 months to one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and other conditions as per the organization’s criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications as per prescriptions in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive drug information to patients.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of medicines and medical supplies.
  • Ensure the proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
  • Keep up-to-date with new regulations, standards, and best practices in pharmacy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Option 1: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institute.
  • Option 2: 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board and an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

Vacancy Details:

  • Number of Vacancies: 01
  • Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 28,100/- per month

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Preference will be given to Ex-servicemen.
  • Candidates must meet the Qualitative Requirements specified.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via telephone or SMS. A medical fitness certificate is mandatory.
