The St. John’s Research Institute (SJRI) operates as part of the St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, overseen by the CBCI Society for Medical Education. Join a Multicentre Research Project in Medical Science

Position Starting:

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate in Medicine (General medicine, Community Medicine, or Pharmacology) OR
Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy / Public Health

Salary:

Rs.85,090/-

Language: Good Communication in English

Experience:

Experience in Clinical data collection, including interviews/surveys
Experience of working in Public Health/Medical Research Projects

Brief Description about the Project:

A Multicentre multi-method study for the development and Validation of a Deprescribing Tool, followed by Implementation and evaluation of its impact, facilitators, and barriers. The study will be conducted in 3 phases:

Phase 1: Study approvals, Systematic review, and development plus validation of a deprescribing tool.

Phase 2: Implementation and evaluation of the Tool and validation

Phase 3: Evaluation of barriers and facilitators to implementation, modification of the tool if required after the analysis of INIs, data analysis, study report preparation, feedback to prescribers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Data collection, Documentation, conducting participant interviews, clinical case record maintenance.
Technical support for Delphi process and in-depth interviews.
Oversee the prescription data collection at the site.
Any other duty assigned by the PI/Co-PI/supervisory officer from time to time.
