Position Overview

Post: Senior Expert – Science & Technology (GxP & Compliance)
Location: Telangana

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all GxP-related activities within Analytical R&D Line Units at the site level.

• Serve as the liaison between local Quality Assurance and ARD teams.

• Establish and maintain GMP-compliant management systems; ensure adherence to internal and external regulations.

• Advise team heads and staff on GxP practices and manage quality exception processes.

• Support implementation of SOPs, GMP, GLP, HSE, ISRM, and Novartis guidelines.

• Organize, perform, and support audits; track follow-up actions.

• Lead continuous improvement projects and drive compliance initiatives.

• Write and review protocols, scientific documents, lab procedures, and SOPs.

• Ensure successful knowledge transfer and provide on-site troubleshooting and training.

• Mentor and coach scientific associates and lead cross-functional team collaborations.

Candidate Profile

• Education: M.Pharm / MSc with 10+ years OR PhD in Analytical/Pharmacy/Chemistry with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in a GxP-regulated environment with scientific and strategic depth.

• In-depth knowledge of drug development, GMP compliance, and regulatory expectations.

• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of driving innovation and productivity.

• Experience in working with cross-functional and multicultural teams in a matrix organization.

• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in scientific documentation and presentation.
