About Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking an experienced Purification Scientist to design and execute purification experiments, oversee process development groups, and lead a team in developing robust purification processes. This role plays a crucial part in advancing the company’s product development efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and supervise purification studies while training and mentoring junior team members.
• Plan and manage resources efficiently to establish a purification process for at least one molecule, integrating information across functions.
• Collate, analyze, and interpret downstream experimental data using statistical tools, and prepare technical presentations for various forums.
• Coordinate with team members for equipment and inventory maintenance, organize lab meetings, and ensure adherence to lab systems and SOPs.
• Motivate the team, take accountability for their performance, identify learning needs, and provide constructive feedback.

Candidate Profile

• A Master’s (M.Sc., M.Tech., M.E., M.Pharm.) or Bachelor’s (B.Tech, B.E., B.Pharm.) or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, or related fields.
• 1 to 3 years of experience with a Ph.D. or 5 to 10 years with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Understanding of Process Development and Industrial perspectives of Biotherapeutics/Biosimilars.
• In-depth knowledge of purification process development.
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques, statistical analysis, and data management.
• Strong team-building and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Effective troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
