Position: Pharmacist (ECHS Polyclinic Rajkot)

Organization Overview

The ECHS Central Organisation, headquartered in Delhi, operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W at Army HQ. Managed by a serving Major General, the central organization oversees 28 Regional Centres and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. It functions as an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), alongside the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Job Description

ECHS Cell Stn HQ Patiala is seeking applications for various Medical Officers, Para Medical, and Non-Medical Staff on a contractual basis for ECHS Polyclinics in Patiala, Sangrur, Nabha, and Samana. The positions are initially for one year, renewable based on performance and other criteria.

  • Salary: Rs. 28,100/- per month
  • Contract Duration: One year, renewable for an additional year based on performance

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute OR
    • 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board and an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 3 years

Candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format, along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials supporting educational qualifications, work experience, and medical fitness certificates (from an authorized government hospital for civilian candidates or a military hospital for ESM) to OIC ECHS Cell, Station Patiala by 23rd July 2024. Applications received after 1400 hrs on 23rd July 2024 will not be accepted.

Interview Details

  • Tentative Date: 7th August 2024 (firm date to be communicated telephonically)
  • Timing: Candidates should report at 0845 hrs; interviews will be held between 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs.

  • Original certificates, mark sheets, and degrees (Matric/Graduation/Post Graduation/Diploma)
  • Valid registration certificate
  • Work experience certificates

  • Discharge book, PPO, Service particulars
  • Aadhar card
  • Medical fitness certificate duly signed by the CMO of a Civil Government Hospital or SEMO of a Military Hospital
  • Two passport-size color photographs
