Job Description:
Role Summary:
Join the dynamic team at Pfizer Research and Development (PRD) within the Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) group. As a Junior Central Testing Analyst, you’ll be a vital part of the integral delivery unit, contributing to the execution of User Acceptance Testing for database screens. Your role ensures adherence to protocols, enabling end users to input data in accordance with established standards and expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing edit checks, validating their correctness, appropriateness, and adequacy as per specifications.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing activities, including CRF design, acquisition, and processing of electronic data (e.g., external eData, Lab Data, PK/PD Data), and database edit checks under appropriate oversight.
- Accountable for delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
- Maintain consistent use and application of applicable data standards, ensuring data quality and consistency across programs and repositories.
- Adhere to SOPs and working practices.
- Understand and implement Protocol for screen testing.
- Participate in UAT feedback meetings.
- Track lessons learned and share knowledge within the team.
- Complete all documentation related to the study and share it with the study team.
Candidate Profile:
- Awareness of clinical development and pharmaceuticals as a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory authorities (e.g., FDA, Health Canada).
- Ability to learn clinical data management processes and principles within the assigned responsibility area.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including remote communication.
- Capacity to learn technical data systems.
- Ability to learn the use of data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, J-Review).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree; Health Sciences experience or Technology degree preferred.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in Clinical domain/Life Sciences/Pharma.
- Knowledge and experience in functional/automation testing, SDLC, database management role, understanding key processes and principles associated with the role, including CRF design, database set-up, edit check specification, and data transfer activities (preferred).
- Primarily an office-based position involving sitting in front of a computer for extended periods, making presentations, etc.
