Position Details

Project: BMGF-DFS-SENSORY-STABILITY
Vacancy: 01
Position Start Date: 1st May, 2025
Monthly Salary: ₹30,000 (Inclusive of HRA)
Languages Preferred: English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi
Experience Required: Minimum 1–2 years in research
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences (minimum required)

About the Project

This project is focused on evaluating the sensitivity and specificity of double fortified salt (DFS) under real-world conditions, contributing to advancements in nutritional interventions and public health strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process biological samples including blood, plasma, and tissues for analysis.

  • Conduct biochemical assays like ELISA, spectrophotometry, and nutritional component analysis.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure calibration, and manage inventory of reagents and consumables.

  • Follow all laboratory SOPs, ethical practices, and safety protocols meticulously.

  • Document all experimental data accurately and assist in data analysis and report writing.

  • Participate in field surveys and assist in sample collection, screening, and processing.

  • Be prepared for travel related to fieldwork as part of project execution.

  • Provide support in all additional project-related duties as assigned by the PI.
