Your Opportunity – Senior Officer, Quality Control

As a Senior Officer in Quality Control, you will play a key role in ensuring that our manufacturing site complies with current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), analytical standards, and quality norms. This role demands hands-on expertise in instrumentation, regulatory compliance, and robust documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Core QC Functions

• Perform analytical testing and calibration of QC laboratory instruments.

• Handle receipt, verification, and issuance of laboratory chemicals and glassware.

• Prepare volumetric solutions, reagents, and test solutions.

• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in all activities.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and environmental controls.

• Manage all types of reference and working standards and chromatographic columns.

• Coordinate the receiving, inwarding, and tracking of samples in registers/LIMS.

• Prepare and execute analytical protocols and liaise with vendors as needed.

• Monitor and document daily temperature records in the QC lab.

Quality & Compliance

• Lead and support investigations related to LIR, OOS, OOT, and deviations.

• Initiate and document CAPAs, CRNs, deviations, and change controls.

• Operate and manage data using Caliber e-LIMS.

• Take on any additional responsibilities as delegated by the HOD.

Preferred Skills & Proficiency

• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments: HPLC, GC, UV, IR, etc.

• Strong command over GLP compliance, regulatory documentation, and data integrity.

• Proficient in SOP preparation, audit readiness, and instrument qualification.

• Familiarity with LIMS operation, analytical troubleshooting, and QMS documentation.

• Basic understanding of CAPA, deviation, and change control systems.

Candidate Profile

• Education:

  • B.Pharm – Required

  • M.Pharm / M.Sc. – Preferred

• Experience: 2–6 years in a regulated pharmaceutical quality control environment.

• Key Traits: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, regulatory mindset, and team collaboration.
