Agra Public Group of Education is the oldest and largest educational institution in Agra. It was founded by Late Shri P.L. Sharma in 1965 under the umbrella of the Agra Public Education Society, and it started as Agra Public School located at 10, Old Vijay Nagar in Agra. Later, under the leadership of Late Dr. Shadhna Sharma and Late Shri D.R. Chaturvedi, the institution expanded and established four new units of schools in Agra, forming the Agra Public Group of Institutions.

In the year 1999, the Agra Public Institute of Technology and Computer Education was established on a sprawling 5-acre campus in Artoni, Agra. The primary goal of the Agra Public Group of Education is to cater to the growing demand for professionals in the increasingly complex fields of business and computing.
