About the Opportunity

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), under the National Health Mission (NHM), invites applications for the position of Pharmacist on a temporary contract basis. These positions are crucial for strengthening healthcare delivery through the Urban Health Center and Dedicated Mobile Health Team (DMHT).

Candidates will be appointed on an 11-month contractual basis, with the possibility of renewal based on performance. A waiting list will also be maintained.

Position Details

• Post: Pharmacist

• No. of Posts: 6

• Contract Duration: 11 months (extendable on satisfactory performance)

• Salary: ₹16,000/- fixed per month

• Age Limit: Maximum 58 years

Essential Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university.

• Must be registered with the Gujarat Pharmacy Council.

• Candidates with experience in Government/Corporation/Private institutions and a Basic Computer Certificate will be given preference in the merit list.

Key Conditions

• Applications must include attested copies of all qualification and experience certificates. Incomplete applications or missing documents will not be considered.

• Appointment is purely contractual, and candidates will have no claim for permanent employment with AMC.

• Selected candidates must enter into an agreement with the Urban Health Society, Ahmedabad.

• Original certificates will be verified before final appointment. Any discrepancies will result in cancellation.

• The merit list will be prepared based on uploaded certificates and online application.

• AMC/State Health Society reserves the right to modify, cancel, or amend this advertisement as per requirement.

• Pressure or influence of any kind will lead to disqualification.

• Salary structure may be revised as per future instructions from State Health Society.
