Indira Gandhi Hospital (IGH) is an ambitious project by the Delhi Government, envisioned as a Teaching Hospital with Super Specialty Services. It boasts 1241 beds and is designed as an eco-friendly, certified green building. The hospital comprises three interconnected blocks: the OPD (Outpatient Department), Ward, and Emergency Block. All beds are supported by Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) for oxygen delivery.

Recruitment Notice: Pharmacist Positions at Indira Gandhi Hospital

Applications are invited for the recruitment/empanelment of manpower on a purely outsourced basis for deployment at Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Position: Pharmacist

  • Number of Posts: 7
  • Qualification & Experience:
    1. B. Pharmacy from a recognized institute, OR
    2. 10+2 with science stream (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) from a recognized board.
  • Technical Qualification:
    • Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
    • Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 38,346
  • Age: 18-30 years

Important Notes

  1. Selection will be made according to prescribed norms and job requirements.
  2. Reservations will be provided as per Government of India rules.
  3. Statutory deductions (like ESI, EPF, etc.) will be made as per rules. Monthly remuneration will also include deductions for both employee and employer PF contributions.
  4. Preference will be given to local candidates and those already working in similar departments.
  5. No TA/DA will be provided for attending tests, document verification, personal interaction, or joining the duty upon selection.

  12. BECIL will not be responsible for typographical errors (e.g., email IDs, mobile numbers) in the submitted application forms.
  13. Upload all documents supporting educational qualifications and experience claims. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
  14. Download and retain a copy of the submitted application form before the closing date. BECIL will not entertain requests for copies after submission.
  15. Registration with DNC for Nursing, DPC for Pharmacists, and DCPTOT for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy is mandatory. Candidates must have the registration certificate before the submission deadline.
  16. Reservations for EWS and PwD will apply as per Government of India rules.
  17. Only OBC certificates issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi will be accepted, provided they are issued before the submission deadline. OBC candidates must possess a Non-Creamy Layer certificate for the current year.
  18. If any OBC certificate is found to be fabricated or the candidate does not belong to the claimed category, their services will be terminated immediately, with potential further action under the Indian Penal Code for producing fake/false certificates.

  4. Follow the registration process in seven steps:

    • Application Preview or Modify
    • Payment via online mode (credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.)
    • Email your scanned documents to the email ID mentioned in the last page of the application form.
  5. Upload a scanned copy of a passport-sized color photo and signature (size within 100 kb, in jpg/PDF files only).
  6. Only online payment of registration & application processing fees (non-refundable) is accepted. Payment via Demand Drafts, Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Pay Orders, Banker’s Cheques, postal stamps, etc., will not be accepted.
  7. Category-wise registration & application processing fees:
    • General: Rs.885/- (Rs. 590/- extra for every additional post applied)
    • OBC: Rs.885/- (Rs. 590/- extra for every additional post applied)
    • SC/ST: Rs.531/- (Rs. 354/- extra for every additional post applied)
    • Ex-Serviceman: Rs.885/- (Rs. 590/- extra for every additional post applied)
    • Women: Rs.885/- (Rs. 590/- extra for every additional post applied)
    • EWS/PH: Rs.531/- (Rs. 354/- extra for every additional post applied) Note: Bank and payment gateway charges will be borne by the applicant.
