Position: Executive – Regulatory Affairs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue Prior Notice to USFDA for sample submissions.
  • Prepare statements and declarations (e.g., Allergen, Non-GMO, Food Grade, WADA, Nitrosamine Risk Assessment, Heavy Metal Impurities, Elemental Impurities, Gluten-Free Statements) as per the requirements of customer scope products in various countries.
  • Fill out and submit customer questionnaires along with supporting documentation.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of company and product registration processes in international markets such as Europe, Indonesia, Brazil, GCC countries, etc.
  • Respond to customer queries effectively.
  • StayFamiliarize yourself with FSSAI/FDA registration guidelines.
  • Ensure company products comply with regional regulations for distribution.
  • Stay updated on national and international legislation, guidelines, and customer practices.
  • Prepare submissions for additional product changes and establishment updates for state and central regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Marketing teams to provide regulatory guidance throughout product development, ensuring compliance from concept to market release.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, offering insights and recommendations to align the company’s strategies with market demands.
  • Possess basic knowledge of food certifications like BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, Kosher, HALAL, EIA, etc.
  • Prepare qualitative and manufacturing process equivalence reports.
  • Understand the basics of preparing government tender documents.
  • Prepare documentation for customs clearance.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Tech, M.Tech or related field.
  • Experience: Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
