Position: Scientist – Pharmaceutical Development

Candidate Profile

• Education: M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with 8-10 years of industry experience OR Ph.D. in drug delivery/biopharmaceutics with 1-4 years of industry experience.
• Skills and Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience in developing and manufacturing novel formulations to enhance the bioavailability and bio-pharmaceutical properties of New Chemical Entities (NCEs).
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced oral and parenteral delivery systems such as lipid-based systems, nano-particulate systems, and biodegradable polymers.
  • Strong understanding of the physicochemical properties of NCEs, including “Beyond Rule of 5” molecules and BCS Class II/III/IV compounds.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical development processes for NCEs, including solid-state characterization, polymorph screening, and salt screening.
  • Experience in preparing protocols, SOPs, and guidelines for lab equipment and processes.
  • Sound knowledge of GLP, GMP, ICH guidelines, and safety, health, and environmental systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize innovative drug formulations.
• Collaborate on preclinical and clinical development projects.
• Contribute to the development of protocols, guidelines, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety protocols.
