Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Any one of the following):

  • Master’s Degree in:

    • Biomedical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Polymer, or Computer Science Engineering

    • Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Life Sciences

OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the above fields from a recognized university/institute

Experience:

  • Master’s Degree holders: Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing/testing/regulation/designing of medical devices

  • Bachelor’s Degree holders: Minimum 6 years’ experience in the same areas


Age Limit (As on Closing Date)

  • UR/EWS: Up to 40 years

  • OBC: Up to 43 years

  • SC/ST: Up to 45 years

  • PwBD: Up to 50 years
    (Relaxations applicable as per Govt. rules)


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Joint Inspections and regulatory compliance

  • Monitor activities of Drug Inspectors and other technical officers

  • Evaluate inspection reports, process online applications

  • Address stakeholder queries and participate in expert committees

  • Represent DCG(I) in conferences, workshops, and official duties

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Drugs Controller General (India)


Other Conditions

  • Successful candidates must undergo mandatory induction training of at least 2 weeks

  • Must be willing to serve anywhere in India as per organizational needs
