Qualifications Required at DPSRU:
- Essential: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with first-class honors in a relevant field from an Indian institution (or an equivalent grade) or an equivalent degree from an approved international university.
- Desirable: PhD qualifications are preferred.
Compensation:
The compensation structure is as follows:
- Professor/Associate Professor @ INR 2000 per hour, with a maximum ceiling of INR 32,000 per month.
- Assistant Professor @ INR 1500 per hour, with a maximum ceiling of INR 24,000 per month. (*Compensation follows the office order by OTTE No. F.161/18/PT.TIMEFACULTY/OTTE/2014/3062-3072 dated 22/12/2015.)
Verification and Presentation at DPSRU:
- Candidates are requested to report to the Board Room of the University at 10:00 a.m. for the verification of original documents and certificates.
- Please bring all original degrees, certificates, one passport-size photograph, three sets of brief resumes, and a set of self-attested copies of all mentioned documents.
- All candidates are required to prepare a presentation (maximum 5 slides) related to their research domain, to be presented during the interview or as otherwise directed by the Selection Committee.
Note:
- Guest Faculty positions do not grant voting rights or membership in the various statutory bodies of the University. Guest Faculty does not receive the same benefits as regular faculty, such as allowances, pensions, gratuities, and leave.
- No T AIDA (Travel Allowance, Incentive, Dearness Allowance) will be payable for attending the interview, and requests to change the interview date will not be entertained under any circumstances.
