About NEIGRIHMS

NEIGRIHMS (North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences) was indeed established by the Government of India in 1987. It is located in Shillong, Meghalaya, and serves as a postgraduate medical institute. NEIGRIHMS was designed to be similar to prestigious institutions like AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in New Delhi and PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research) in Chandigarh.

It holds the distinction of being the first postgraduate medical institute in the North Eastern Region of India and the third in the country, following the model set by AIIMS and PGIMER. The institute was established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, with the aim of providing high-quality medical education, healthcare, and research facilities in the northeastern part of the country.

Conditions:

This post is purely temporary.

At the time of selection, the contract of employment for 11 months should be given.
