Biological E. Limited (BE) has been a pioneer in the healthcare industry since its inception during the Swadeshi Movement of India. Established in 1953 by Dr. DVK Raju, the company initially focused on manufacturing liver extracts and anti-coagulants. In 1962, BE expanded its vision by launching its Biotechnology Division (now the Vaccines and Biologics Division), producing DPT vaccines on a large scale. Quality Assurance (IPQA)
- Position: Executive & Senior Executive
- Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc.
- Experience: 3 to 9 Years
- Key Responsibilities:
- Line clearance for manufacturing processes, including dispensing, visual inspection, and packaging
- Sample collection and submission for various testing procedures
- Conducting AQL inspections and reviewing batch manufacturing and packing records
- Preparation of visual inspection defect sets and inspector qualification
- Exposure to QMS elements (CAPA, Change Control, Deviation)
Production (Injectables)
- Position: Executive & Senior Executive
- Qualification: M.Pharm / B.Pharm
- Experience: 2 to 7 Years
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing, filtration, filling, lyophilization, and sealing processes
- Planning and execution of batch manufacturing and aseptic media fill simulation
- Monitoring NVPC trends and maintaining documentation on the shop floor
Production (Pharma)
- Position: Officer & Senior Officer
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc.
- Experience: 2 to 6 Years
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and cleaning vial washing machines, depyrogenation tunnels, sterilization systems, and filling machines
- Handling lyophilizers with auto-loading/unloading systems
- Executing aseptic processing, filling, and sealing activities
- Knowledge of manufacturing and compounding operations
Quality Control
- Position: Executive
- Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Sc. (Injectables)
- Experience: 3 to 5 Years
- Key Responsibilities:
- Handling Caliber LIMS and biological assays (Antifactor Xa and Antifactor IIa)
- Conducting assays for Heparin sodium and Enoxaparin sodium
- Analysis of in-process, finished product, stability, and raw materials
- Expertise in operating instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, AAS, ICP-MS, NMR, KF, and Potentiometer
- Preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments
