AIPRM__conversation__response\">\n<p>The Indian Iron &amp; Steel Company (IISCO), a subsidiary of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), was merged with SAIL on February 16, 2006, and subsequently renamed as IISCO Steel Plant (ISP). This steel plant is one of India&#8217;s oldest and has a rich history. It was originally established as an industrial enterprise in 1918 and achieved a significant milestone in 1922 by producing iron from an open-top blast furnace at Hirapur, which later became known as Burnpur, located in West Bengal.<\/p><div class=\"pharm-content\" id=\"pharm-3558675206\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8402705006112223\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8402705006112223\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"7652789694\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Over the years, the plant underwent progressive upgrades, eventually reaching a production capacity of 4.26 lakh tonnes of saleable steel and 2.54 lakh tonnes of pig iron annually. The plant is known for manufacturing a wide range of products, some of which it dominates in the market. The iron and steel produced by ISP have earned a reputation for being of exceptional quality.<\/p>\n<p>Through a modernization and expansion program, the plant has significantly increased its crude steel capacity to a remarkable 2.5 million tons per year. SC Candidates: 35 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Duration_of_Training\"><\/span><strong>Duration of Training:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>18 months, with a possibility of extension subject to vacancy.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Medical_Fitness_Certification\"><\/span><strong>Medical Fitness Certification:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The medical fitness of the selected trainees under the scheme will be certified by the Medical Officer of IISCO Steel Plant Hospital.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stipend\"><\/span><strong>Stipend:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly stipend: Rs. 10,000\/- (Paid on a pro-rata basis based on actual attendance).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge &amp; Skill Enhancement Allowance:\n<ul>\n<li>20 days or more: Rs. 260\/- per day of presence.<\/li>\n<li>15 to 19 days: Rs. 130\/- per day of presence.<\/li>\n<li>Less than 15 days: No allowance, only stipend will be paid.<\/li>\n<li>Maximum payable: Rs. 17,020\/- (Rs. 10,000 stipend + Rs. 7,020 allowance).<\/li>\n<li>Payments will be made only through a bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Switch Over:<\/strong> Trainees cannot switch their allotted specialty stream during the training period but may apply for a fresh term on completing the current training cycle.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Facilities_Admissible_During_Training_at_SAIL\"><\/span><strong>Facilities Admissible During Training at SAIL:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical facilities (self only) at the company hospital without referral.<\/li>\n<li>Accommodation may be considered on a payment basis.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of Proficiency upon successful completion of training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Leave_Facilities_During_Training\"><\/span><strong>Leave Facilities During Training:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>7 days of Casual Leave.<\/li>\n<li>Closed Holiday (or Compensatory off) for National Holidays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conduct_and_Discipline_During_Training\"><\/span><strong>Conduct and Discipline During Training:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The training is temporary and can be terminated without notice if conduct\/performance is unsatisfactory.<\/li>\n<li>Trainees must sign an Undertaking to serve as a Vocational trainee and not claim employment in the IISCO Steel Plant Hospital.<\/li>\n<li>Trainees must follow safety, discipline, and professional ethics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Certificate_of_Completion\"><\/span><strong>Certificate of Completion:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A &#8220;Certificate of Completion&#8221;
