color: initial;\">ECHS<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">The ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Central Organisation is based in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the Adjutant General (AG) and the Directorate General of Dental and Welfare (DGDC&amp;W) in the Army Headquarters. The Central Organisation is led by a Managing Director, who is a serving Major General. Additionally, it is affiliated with the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW) under the Ministry of Defence (MoD), similar to the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).
