This creation followed a bifurcation from the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&amp;D), based on recommendations from the National Human Rights Commission and the Padmanabhaiah Committee on Police Reforms. The official Gazette notification, issued via Order No. 25011\/41\/2001-GPA.II\/PM-II on December 31, 2002, confirmed this establishment. 12 of Pay Matrix (Grade Pay &#8211; Rs.7600\/-)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_Criteria\"><\/span>Eligibility Criteria<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Who Can Apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Officers from Central\/State Governments, Union Territories, Universities, recognized research institutions, public sector undertakings, or statutory or autonomous organizations who:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department, OR<\/li>\n<li>Have five years of regular service in posts in Level &#8211; 11 (Rs. 67700- 208700) of the Pay Matrix.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates must possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Master&#8217;s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Biophysics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Forensic Science, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physical Anthropology, Genetics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Psychology, Criminology, Computer Science, Electronics, Human Genetics, OR<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or Technology in Biotechnology, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, candidates should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ten years of research experience in a Forensic Laboratory\/Institution under Central\/State\/Union Territory, with at least eight years in an accredited laboratory\/institution managing a quality assurance program accredited by Quality Council of India, Standardization Testing &amp;
