Your core responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing nonclinical data to assess the safety of drugs.<\/li>\n<li>Making regulatory recommendations and ensuring product labeling reflects accurate safety information.<\/li>\n<li>Participating in nonclinical safety assessments and serving as a subject matter expert on various work groups.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating in silico, in vitro, ex-vivo, and animal data to assess safety and efficacy.<\/li>\n<li>Using advanced scientific knowledge to recommend safe first-in-human doses for clinical trials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Qualifications\"><\/span>Qualifications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>To qualify for this Title 21 Cures position, you must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in toxicology, pharmacology, or related sciences from an accredited institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience and Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Doctorate degree in fields such as neuroscience, immunology, or molecular biology.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in molecular, cellular, or systems biology, pharmacology, and toxicology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Conditions of Employment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Background investigation and security clearance.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with E-Verify requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet all qualification standards by the closing date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Apply\"><\/span>How to Apply<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Submit your resume or curriculum vitae with a cover letter by <strong>October 11, 2024<\/strong>, to <strong><a rel=\"noopener\">CDER-ONDPharmTox.Employment@fda.hhs.gov<\/a><\/strong>.
