About ECHS

The Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) oversees the ECHS Central Organisation, which is based in Delhi and is run by AG and DGDC&W at Army Headquarters. The Managing Director of ECHS, Major General in active duty, leads the Central organisation. There are 426 ECHS Polyclinics and 28 Regional Centres for ECHS. The Department of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), as well as the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), are also linked to ECHS.

Contractual Position in ECHS Polyclinics – Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Kakmada

ECHS is inviting applications for the position of Pharmacist on a contractual basis at three ECHS Polyclinics located in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and Kakmada. The engagement is for a period of one year, renewable for an additional year, subject to the maximum age limit and candidate performance.

Minimum Qualification:

  • B.Pharmacy or Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
  • Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.

Fixed Remuneration: ₹28,100/- per month

Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen.
