About Central Medical Services Society
Central Medical Services Society (CMSS) was established on August 24, 2011, with the approval of the Cabinet. It serves as a Central Procurement Agency, aiming to streamline the drug procurement and distribution system of the Department of Health and Family Welfare under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The primary goal of CMSS is to eliminate existing deficiencies in the procurement and distribution of health sector goods.
The mission of the Society is to procure high-quality health sector goods in a transparent and cost-effective manner, aligning with the directives of the Government of India. CMSS is committed to ensuring the timely and uninterrupted supply of health sector goods and services to State Governments and Union Territories across the country.
