Job Description:

The Position As an Analyst, utilize strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills alongside proficiency in advanced analytical tools. Your role involves the development and implementation of intricate reporting in Excel/PowerPoint pertaining to commercial activities. You should possess an understanding of diverse datasets, including IQVIA Market/Sales/Promotional Data, Internal Company Sales Data, and sales force-related metrics. Engage in analytical and consulting services for project design, delivery, and execution within Business Intelligence. Foster superior stakeholder engagement by delivering insight-driven projects and collaborating on cross-functional initiatives. Leverage robust quantitative and analytic capabilities to integrate and scrutinize data, executing complex reporting and ad hoc tasks in alignment with business needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end project management.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Develop customized analysis tools/dashboards using applications like Advanced Excel, VBA, PowerPoint & Power BI.
  • Conduct quality checks on various reports and analyses, maintaining thorough documentation to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Independently prepare management presentations and offer recommendations based on data, market insights, and business knowledge.

Candidate Profile

  • Hold a Master’s Degree (preferably in a quantitative/management discipline) from a reputable institute.
  • Possess an undergraduate degree, preferably in Pharma (B.Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc), or Engineering (B.Tech).
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance and grades.
  • Accumulate 8+ years of experience in the Pharma industry; consulting experience is advantageous.
  • Exhibit working familiarity with APAC/Far East Markets, preferably the Japan Market.
  • Showcase strategic and analytical prowess in converting business challenges into efficient analysis plans, managing analysis execution from data retrieval to recommendations.
  • Possess hands-on experience in working with commercial effectiveness datasets and metrics.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Display proficiency in analyzing market data, encompassing market composition and competitor performance.
  • Desirable: Hands-on experience in Forecasting, Market Research, and consulting projects.
  • Essential: Advanced-level proficiency in Excel, VBA & PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of SAP (Business Warehouse or Business Objects).
  • Plus: Familiarity with Power BI.
  • Demonstrate conceptual, analytical, and tactical thinking, with a strategic thought process.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Showcase strong interpersonal skills, fostering robust relationships and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Display a proactive approach to ownership of initiatives, consistently delivering outstanding results with minimal supervision.
  • Consult, present, and influence cross-functional teams, providing confident recommendations to senior management.
