About PCIM&H

The Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) is a subordinate office operating under the Ministry of AYUSH, which falls under the Government of India. Its primary focus is on the development of pharmacopoeias and formularies, along with its role as a Central Drug Testing cum Appellate Laboratory for Indian systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy. The Commission’s inception took place as the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine (PCIM) on August 18, 2010. It was initially established as an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH and officially registered under the Societies Registration Act on August 31, 2010. Subsequently, in accordance with a decision made by the Central Government on March 20, 2014, the scope of the Commission was expanded to include Homoeopathy. As a result, the Commission was renamed the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H).

Recruitment for Contract Basis Position at Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCI&MH), Ghaziabad

Position: Pharmacopoeial Associate (Pharmacy)

Number of Vacancies at PCIM&H: 01

Educational Qualification Required at PCIM&H:

  • Essential: Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel & Power Point.
  • Desirable: Ph.D. in Pharmacy
  • Two years of experience in a research institute
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years for fresh engagement

Monthly Remuneration: Rs.32,000/-

Selection Process:

  1. Selection will adhere to prescribed norms and job requirements.
  2. Local candidates and those already in similar departments will be preferred.
  3. No TA/DA will be provided for test/document verification/personal interaction/joining duty on selection, etc.
