The ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Central Organisation is based in Delhi and is responsible for overseeing the overall functioning of the ECHS program. It is headed by a serving Major General and reports to the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the AG and DGDC&W in the Army HQ. The Central organisation oversees 28 Regional Centres and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. The ECHS is also an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), which is part of the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Other related organizations include the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).
Post : A Pharmacist is a position that is responsible for dispensing and managing medication within the ECHS polyclinics.
The ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) is currently inviting applications for the engagement of Medical, Para-Medical and Non-Medical Staff on a contractual basis for a period of one year. The positions are available at 03 ECHS Polyclinics located in Kochi, Muvattupuzha, and Painavu, as well as the Regional Centre ECHS in Kochi. The contract is renewable for an additional period of one year or until the candidate reaches the maximum age, subject to the candidate’s performance and other conditions as specified in the criteria for each position.
No of post : The number of available positions is 5, with 3 positions in Kochi, 1 position in Muvattupuzha, and 1 position in Painavu.
Minimum Qualification : This job posting is for a position requiring a minimum qualification of a B/Pharmacy degree from a recognized institute or (10+2) with science stream from a recognized board and an approved diploma in pharmacy from a recognized institution by the Pharmacy Council of India, and registered as a pharmacy under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Fixed Remuneration : The fixed remuneration for this position is 28,100/-. The last date to submit applications, in the format provided on the website and with self-attested photocopies of testimonials in support of educational qualifications and work experiences, is 30 Jan 23 to Stn HQ ECHS (Navy), Kochi in duplicate. The interview date, timing, and venue for this job posting are as follows: Candidates must arrive at INS Venduruthy at 0900h from 13th to 17th Feb 23 for the interview. All original certificates, mark sheets, degree of 10th/ Matric, 10+2 & Graduation/ post graduation/ diploma/ course, work experience, discharge book, PPO, service records, and two passport size color photographs are to be brought to the interview. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided. Only candidates who meet the Qualitative Requirements should apply.
