Great opportunity for M.Pharm or MSc to work in DBT funded Project at National Institute of Nutrition

In Hyderabad, India, the National Institute of Nutrition is a center for translational research in public health, nutrition, and India. The institute, which is close to Osmania University and is one of the oldest and largest centers for medical research in India, belongs to the Indian Council of Medical Research.

Applications are being accepted from qualified applicants for the following positions under the DBT-funded study at this Institute called “Influence of Micronutrient Status on Biomarkers of Aging in Frailty.”

Required Requirements: MBBS or M. Pharma OR M.Sc. in Life Science with two years of research experience from a reputable University
Research expertise in the fields of nutritional assessment and biochemical/micronutrient analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities’ nature: field study subject recruitment, data and sample collection, and lab analysis related to diet and aging
Age: Not older than 35.

Stipend: Rs. 35,000 plus HRA at a set rate of 24% per month, no other benefits
Duration: Till 31.3.2023

Place of work : ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.

These are the general terms and conditions that apply to the above-mentioned posts/positions:

1. The posts/positions are temporary in nature.
2. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason, and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
3. The selected candidate must work for a minimum period of one month. If the candidate fails to do so, the salary drawn by him/her has to be refunded.
4. Age relaxation is allowed for Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and Ex-Servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons. Age, qualifications, etc., will be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
5. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to ST as per DoPT rules.
6. Since the posts are temporary, the selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment at ICMR-NIN or continuation of his/ her services in any other project.
7. Other allowances like CCA, LTC, Medical Claim, and PF are not applicable.
8. The results of the final selection will be placed on ICMR-NIN website only. No intimation will be sent by e-mail or phone.
9. The recruited project staff is eligible for leave as per project recruitment rules/guidelines and will have to give an undertaking before joining.
10. At the time of joining duty, the candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), No Objection Certificate from the present employer, Experience, Aadhaar Card, Community and PWD Certificate (if applicable) for availing age relaxation, passport size photograph along with one set of photocopies of the certificates duly attested (can be self-attested) for verification.
11. The conditions of employment will be the same as that of the project staff on a contract basis.
12. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be informed on the same day for Walk-in-interview. The Walk-in-Interview for the above-mentioned posts/positions will be conducted on 21.2.2023 from 11.00 a.m onwards at Conference Hall & Committee Room, ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.
