The specific job duties and responsibilities may include:

  1. Reviewing new customer engagements: This may involve reviewing customer requests for access to IT systems, applications, or data, and determining the appropriate access levels based on the customer’s role and responsibilities.
  2. Facilitating access provisioning: This may involve working with other IT teams, such as network or security teams, to provision access to IT resources in a timely and secure manner.
  3. Analysing access issue root cause and resolve accordingly: This may involve troubleshooting access-related issues, identifying the root cause, and implementing corrective actions to prevent similar issues from recurring.
  4. Launching engagements with Vendor & Program Managers: This may involve working with vendors and program managers to establish new IT systems or applications, or to modify existing ones, and ensuring that appropriate access controls are in place.

Required Knowledge / Skill Sets: Technical Skills –

  1. Group-based access control: The ability to understand and apply access controls based on user groups or roles within an IT environment. Additionally, a basic understanding of IP networking may be required to troubleshoot access-related issues.
  2. Technical interaction: The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other IT teams, such as security, support, and application development teams.
  3. Analytical skills: The ability to analyze complex business processes and perform basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve access-related issues.
  4. Technical support: The ability to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  5. Customer follow-up: The ability to follow up with customers, provide feedback, and ensure that problems are resolved to their satisfaction.
  6. Tool proficiency: The ability to use tools such as Google Spreadsheets, pivot tables, databases, and command line interfaces to analyze and manage access-related data.
  7. Critical thinking: The ability to think creatively and solve problems outside of the box.
  8. Resilience: The ability to stay calm and focused in pressurized situations and to adapt to constantly changing requirements.
  9. Attention to detail: The ability to be extremely detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of access-related data and documentation.
  10. Documentation skills: The ability to document process flows and procedures related to access management.
  11. Process improvement: The ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to reduce system defects and improve access control.
  12. Presentation skills: The ability to present findings to a team and deploy training to implement approved changes. Additionally, the ability to track and monitor change improvements may be required.
  13. Ticket data analysis: The ability to document, grade, track, and trend ticket data against defined standards. Additionally, the ability to execute and analyze ticket queries using SQL may be required.
  14. Control plan execution: The ability to execute and update control plans and make recommendations for process improvements. Additionally, the ability to track and monitor change improvements may be required.

  4. Analytical skills: Good analytical skills with excellent knowledge of Excel and Google sheets to analyze and manage access-related data.
  5. Collaboration: The ability to work well as a team player and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure that access controls are properly implemented and maintained.

  1. Customer service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a customer service environment, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Technical support: The ability to walk non-technical customers through a problem-solving process to help them resolve issues related to access control.
  3. Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot access-related issues and provide effective solutions to customers.
  4. Communication with senior engineers: The ability to communicate effectively with senior engineers to discuss complex technical issues and provide recommendations for improvements to access control processes.
