Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous research institute that operates under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, in the Indian government. The job responsibilities for the role include:

  1. Day-to-day management of the Good Clinical Practice Professional Certification Scheme, including the assessment of Personnel Certification Bodies and Training Institutions.
  2. Maintaining documentation as per the requirements of GCPPCS, including any changes needed from time to time.
  3. Coordinating any changes or enhancements in the GCPPCS and drafting necessary documents.
  4. Promoting GCPPCS for wider acceptance among stakeholders, across the globe.
  5. Overseeing and drafting agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) related to the GCPPCS.
  6. Promoting GCPPCS among Personnel Certification Bodies and Training Institutes.
  7. Contributing as a resource person and representing THSTI in national & international

Based on the job description, the following skills are required:

  1. Sound technical knowledge: The candidate should possess a Masters degree in Science/Pharma/relevant field and should have sectoral/regulatory knowledge relevant to clinical practices.

  3. Management, interpersonal, and networking skills: The candidate should have excellent management, interpersonal, and networking skills to effectively manage the GCP Professional Certification Scheme and maintain client relationships.
  4. Communication skills: The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills to promote the GCPPCS for wider acceptance among stakeholders across the globe and represent THSTI in national & international forums on GCPPCS.
  5. IT skills: The candidate should be proficient in computers and other IT skills to manage quality systems documentation.
  6. Conceptualization and policy drafting skills: The candidate should have the ability to prepare concept notes and policy documents.
  7. Quality management skills: The candidate should have the ability to manage quality systems documentation.
  8. Promotional skills: The candidate should have the ability to promote and expand GCPPCS among Personnel Certification Bodies and Training Institutes.

    7. Submit the application form in Step 4.
    8. After submitting the application form, an auto-generated email containing the reference number will be sent to the email address provided. Keep a note of the reference number for future correspondence.
    9. Take a printout of the online application form by using the print button on the dashboard for future reference.
    10. Make sure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement. If it is found that you do not fulfill the stipulated criteria during the recruitment process, your candidature will be canceled. If the same is noticed after the appointment, you will be terminated following due process.
