Job Opportunity: Senior Program Officer / Program Officer (NBM-PMU)

Position Code: PO-07

Remuneration:

  • Senior Program Officer: Rs.75,000 to Rs.2,40,000/- Lump Sum per month
  • Program Officer: Rs.60,000 to Rs.2,10,000/- Lump Sum per month

Essential Qualifications:

  • M.Sc / M.Pharma / MBBS in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology.
  • Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences / Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology (desirable).
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize work.
  • Proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years.
  • Senior Program Officer: 4-5 years of experience in Vaccine/biotherapeutics Manufacturing industry or related areas.
  • Program Officer: 2-3 years of experience in Vaccine/biotherapeutics Manufacturing industry or related areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of NBM-PMU, including grantee monitoring.
  • Collaboration with technical and financial experts.
  • Liaising with Scientific and Technical Advisory groups.
  • Supervising grant management activities.
  • Coordination with Legal and Finance for contracts and agreements.
  • Stakeholder coordination for NBM-PMU management.
  • Administration of new and ongoing projects.
  • Timely execution of activities.
  • Organization of investigator meetings and advisory group discussions.
  • Passion, humility, and critical thinking aligned with BIRAC’s mission.

Age Limit:

  • 35 Years (Sr.Program Officer)
  • 30 Years (Program Officer)

Tenure:

  • ‘Contract for Service’ initially for 3 years or coterminous with the project, whichever is earlier.
  • Project duration until June 2024.
  • Renewal based on project extension and performance.
