With a vision to serve the community through a sustainable business model, Leben Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. (LLS) was founded by Mr. Haresh Shah in the city of Akola, Maharashtra, in the year 1981. Right from the inception, the seeds of compassionate business were sown when the first batch of Leben medicines was donated free of cost to a charitable dispensary in Shirpur, a Jain Pilgrimage village near Akola, Maharashtra.

During a time when access to medicines for common ailments in small towns and villages was severely limited, Leben took on the responsibility of ensuring that quality medicines were made available at affordable prices. The name ‘Leben’ itself, which means ‘Life’ in the German language, reflects our core philosophy of “Love for Life” since our foundation.

Our logo embodies our values and commitment to nothing but excellence, featuring a human hand reaching out to leaves, symbolizing our dedication to caring for and supporting every life.
