Required Qualification:

• Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute recognized by AICTE.
• The candidate must be a retired Pharmacist from the Government of West Bengal/other Government Organization/Public Sector Undertaking.

Age as on 01.01.2024: Between 60 to 62 years

Consolidated Remuneration per Month: Rs. 25,000/-

Job Profile

• Registration of Patients:
  • Register all patients before the commencement of treatment by the Medical Officer.
• Counselling:
  • Counsel patients for better compliance with prescribed medicine, promoting health, and preventing diseases.
• Store Maintenance:
  • Perform duties related to the maintenance of the store of drugs, re-agents, equipment, etc.
• Training Programs:
  • Participate in any training program related to health as and when asked for.
• Drug Storage:
  • Ensure proper storage of drugs to preserve efficiency.
• Inventory Control:
  • Maintain Inventory Control to prevent wastage due to expiration of dated products.
• Labelling:
  • Maintain proper labeling of drugs.
• Indent Preparation:
  • Prepare indent for medical items and medicines.
• Medical Duties:
  • Perform dressing, administer injections, maintain oxygen cylinder, and oxygen concentrator.
• Stock Ledger:
  • Maintain Stock Ledger.
• CSR Activities:
  • Assist in arranging Medical Camps/Blood Donation Camps for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
• Other Duties:
  • Perform any other jobs as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or higher authorities of the Company.

Period of Engagement

1. The engagement is on a purely contractual basis initially for a period of 1 (One) year.
2. Depending upon performance, physical fitness, and mental alertness, the engagement may be extended until attaining the age of 65 years, subject to the decision of the Competent Authority.
3. The contract period may be terminated on serving 1 (One) month’s notice from either side or on payment of 1 (One) month’s pay in lieu thereof.

Other Benefits

1. In addition to the above-stated remuneration, the selected candidate will be entitled to Travelling and Daily Allowance as per the rules of the Company for official tours.
2. Casual Leave, Half Pay Leave, and Compensatory Casual Leave as per the specified norms.
3. Medical Benefits for self-indoor treatment with a limit of Rs. 50,000/- in a year.
4. Official car facility for Chief Medical Officer and Chief Security Officer for the commute.

Mode of Selection

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview held at Vidyut Bhavan, Saltlake, Kolkata, on a suitable date with prior information to all eligible candidates.
