Job Description
The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is dedicated to promoting a portfolio of vaccines across various customers and channels. This role demands regular in-person customer engagements and virtual interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Promotion: Maximize sales within the assigned territory to meet business objectives.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers both face-to-face and virtually to promote products effectively.
- Business Strategy: Develop and implement business and territory call plans; use live and virtual engagement strategies to enhance effectiveness.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with customers in both live and virtual settings using digital tools for successful engagement.
- Market Analysis: Use internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Leverage product and disease state knowledge to provide clinically oriented information and patient resources.
- Market Understanding: Identify barriers and drivers across various business channels, including public health, private market, and retail.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Field Medical and Account Management, to address customer inquiries and achieve Pfizer’s objectives.
- Administrative Duties: Complete all administrative tasks on time, including entering customer calls, submitting expenses, and responding to sales leadership requests.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in one or more of the following areas:
- Professional Sales or Promotional Activity
- Small Business Ownership or Entrepreneurial Experience
- Marketing, Customer Service, or Account Management
- Healthcare/Scientific Roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT)
- Education (e.g., Teacher, Principal)
- Full-Time Military Service
- Location: Must reside within 25 miles of the territory’s border.
- Licensing: Valid US driver’s license with a driving record in compliance with company standards.
- Pharmaceutical Sales: At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or medical-related marketing.
- Skills: Proven track record in sales or marketing, strong territory management, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities.
- Vaccines Experience: Familiarity with vaccines and knowledge of the territory’s customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Residency: Must live within the territory boundaries.
