Pay Scale: S-15, ₹41,800 – ₹1,32,300 plus admissible allowances as per government norms.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality

Must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit (as on 01-11-2025)

Open Category: 18 to 38 years

Reserved Category / EWS: 18 to 43 years
Educational Qualification
-
Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology.

Pharm.D holders are also eligible, as per Government Letter No. FDS-2024/Pr.No. 100/24/Drugs-1 dated 12th August 2025, aligning with the Central Government’s notification dated 16th July 2019.
Key Responsibilities

Inspection of drug manufacturing units, sale premises, and distribution points.

Ensuring compliance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and related regulations.

Sampling, investigation, and reporting of violations.

Assisting in legal proceedings related to drug regulation.
