Executive – QA

Job Description

Objectives

The primary objective of the Executive – QA role is to oversee and conduct sampling and analysis of in-process and finished products in accordance with sampling plans and testing protocols. This includes adherence to AN methods and BIS standards while reporting test results. Specifically, at the Jhagadia site, the incumbent will provide analytical analysis and support to various sections of manufacturing across shifts, including wet processing, evaporator, drier, and dry blending sections.

Major Responsibilities

  • Collect water, in-process, and finished product samples as per sampling plan and conduct instrumental analysis as required.
  • Prepare volumetric solutions, reagents, and mobile phases according to methods.
  • Perform analysis using HPLC, ICPMS, LCMS, and other instruments, reporting results within specified timelines.
  • Review audit trails of critical instruments and raw data.
  • Maintain control charts and trending of control and finished product samples.
  • Manage standard and chemical inventory as per lab requirements.
  • Conduct method transfer and validation in the analytical lab.
  • Dispose of chemical waste generated from the analytical lab.
  • Conduct routine calibration/verification for instruments.
  • Composite finished products following GLP.
  • Strictly adhere to GDP to avoid documentation errors.
  • Maintain 6S in the analytical lab rigorously.
  • Keep records of test parameters and documentation related to various testing categories.
  • Follow GHK practices in the lab and monitor routine cleaning practices.
  • Immediately report any deviations such as OOS, OAL to Lab FLL or Lab Manager.
  • Follow retention and archival policies for record-keeping.
  • Complete compliancewire training as scheduled.
  • Periodically review methods as per schedule.
  • Track media and consumables and manage inventory.
  • Review laboratory records and handle internal audits.
  • Attend Tier 1 meetings on a daily basis.
  • Generate and implement ideas for process improvement.

  • Post Graduate in chemistry with 10 years of experience in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Knowledgeable in analytical procedures, equipment operating methods, and Food Safety Management Systems.

  • Understanding of safety aspects of the analytical lab and GLP requirements.
