Job Title: Pharmacist (Contractual Basis)
Organization Overview
The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organisation is headquartered in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the Adjutant General (AG) and the Directorate General of Defence and Civilian Welfare (DGDC&W) at Army HQ. The Central Organisation is led by the Managing Director, a serving Major General. ECHS manages 28 Regional Centres and 426 Polyclinics nationwide. It functions as an attached office under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), along with the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).
Job Details
Position: Pharmacist
Location: ECHS Polyclinic Pune & ECHS Polyclinic Solapur
Number of Vacancies: 02 (Pune)
Employment Type: Contractual (One year, renewable based on performance)
Remuneration: Fixed salary of Rs. 28,100/- per month
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Option 2: 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board, along with an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Work Experience:
- Minimum three (03) years of relevant experience in the field.
Desirable Attributes:
- Additional diploma or certification in Specialty Pharmacy will be considered advantageous.
Reservation Criteria:
- 70% of the vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

- Two recent passport-size color photographs

- Applications must be submitted to the following address by 12 February 2025. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

Selection Process
Interview Details:
- Date: 21 & 22 February 2025
- Time: 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM
- Venue: HQ Dakshin Maharashtra Sub Area, Pune
Only eligible candidates will be called for an interview after the initial screening of applications. Confirmation of selection for the interview will be communicated via mobile.

- Educational certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation, Diploma/Course)
- PAN Card
- Aadhar Card
- Certificate of Registration with the Medical Council
- Work experience certificates
- Ex-Servicemen: Discharge Book, PPO, and Service Records
- Two passport-size color photographs
