About ECHS

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organisation, located in Delhi, operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) via AG and DGDC&W at Army Headquarters. Led by a serving Major General as the Managing Director, ECHS manages 28 Regional Centres and 426 Polyclinics nationwide. It is an attached office under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence, alongside Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Position Overview

Post: Pharmacist
Location: ECHS Polyclinic, Chandimandir
No. of Vacancy: 01
Engagement Type: Contractual

For Ex-Servicemen: 1 year
For Civilians: 11 months

Key Responsibilities

Dispensing prescribed medications accurately
Managing pharmacy inventory and ensuring availability of essential drugs
Maintaining patient records and assisting with medication queries
Adhering to pharmacy protocols as per ECHS guidelines

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute
OR
10+2 (Science Stream – Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
Diploma in Pharmacy approved by the Pharmacy Council of India
Registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

Salary

₹28,100/- per month (Consolidated)

Preference

Ex-servicemen will be given priority during the selection process.

Interview Details

Date & Time: Candidates must report by 0900 hrs; interviews will be conducted between 0930 hrs to 1430 hrs.
