About HVPNL

Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) was established as a company under the Companies Act, 1956, on August 19, 1997. It received the certificate to commence its business on September 18, 1997. Following this, the transmission and distribution operations of the erstwhile Haryana State Electricity Board (HSEB) were transferred to HVPNL on August 14, 1998. This transfer was executed through a notified government scheme, outlined in Notification No. SO/06/HA/98/S 23,24 & 25/99, dated August 14, 1998. As a result of this scheme, HVPNL was entrusted with the responsibilities of power transmission and distribution.

Qualification:

(a) Matriculation or equivalent examination with science from Haryana Education Board or any other education Board or University recognized by the State Government of Haryana.

(b) Possessing a Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution recognized by the State Government of Haryana.

(c) Direct recruitees must qualify the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Application (SETC) conducted by HARTRON or any other agency authorized by the State Government, like NIELIT, within the probation period of two years.

(d) Must have passed Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education.

(e) Minimum age should not be less than 18 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 42 years.
