Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ company under the Government of India, invites applications from Indian citizens for the position of Pharmacist on a contract basis at its International Ship Repair Facility (ISRF) located on Willingdon Island, Kochi.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Two-year full-time Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
- Valid registration with Kerala State Pharmacy Council
- Desirable:
- Proficiency in Malayalam
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist in an Industrial, Government, or Private Hospital setting.
Contract Terms:
Duration:
- Contract will be initially for 3 years, subject to project requirements and individual performance.
Remuneration:
- 1st Year: ₹23,300
- 2nd Year: ₹24,000
- 3rd Year: ₹24,800
Age Limit:
- Upper age limit: 56 years as of 24 September 2024 (born on or after 25 September 1968).
Selection Process:
Examination Pattern:
- Objective Type Test: 30 Multiple Choice Questions (35 minutes)
- General: 10 marks
- Discipline-related: 20 marks
- Descriptive Test: Discipline-related questions (45 minutes, 20 marks)
- Passing Criteria: Minimum 50% in both Objective and Descriptive tests.
Selection Stages:
- Scrutiny of online applications.
- Certificate verification and selection test at CSL, Kochi.

- ₹300 (non-refundable) for general candidates.
- SC/ST/PwBD applicants are exempt from paying the fee.
